Your function

Your function

As a Student Assistant, you support the administrative processes of the ONWAR Graduate School. You contribute to the smooth organization of courses, meetings, and other activities for PhD candidates. In this role, you help maintain training administration and support communication with participants, ensuring that information and planning remain accurate and up to date.

Your duties

  • processing course registrations and cancellations
  • maintaining participant records and training administration
  • preparing and sending course communications and invitations
  • supporting the tracking of attendance and course evaluations
  • preparing training certificates and updating training records
  • assisting with the organization of courses, meetings and events
  • updating databases and participant information
  • responding to routine questions from PhD candidates

Your profile

  • currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s programme, preferably in a relevant field such as administration, social sciences or life sciences
  • strong organizational skills and ability to work in a structured and accurate way
  • good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • experience with administrative tasks and digital tools such as Excel and databases
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

  • a salary of minimum € 3.084 (scale 101) and maximum € 3.141 (scale 103) gross per month, on a full-time basis. This is based on UFO profile Student assistant. The exact salary depends on your education and experience.
  • a position for at least 0.2 FTE. Your employment contract will initially last 6 months.

We also offer you attractive fringe benefits and regulations. Some examples:

  • 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonus
  • a wide range of sports facilities which staff may use at a modest charge
